SYDNEY – After hoping and waiting for a few months that the new owner of X, formerly Twitter, would calm down and return to his many businesses, General Manager Seth Greenville made the decision to finally move to Bluesky.
“We had an established presence on that other platform, but we started noticing whenever we’d post about our products we had people replying that would call us soyboys. Their profile pictures were almost always of them wearing sunglasses or an American flag painted blue which doesn’t make sense because we are in Australia”, said Mr. Greenville.
Since joining Bluesky Mr. Greenville noted that the interactions on the new platform has been more pleasant, and when there are troublemakers they are swiftly banned, a stark contrast to the previous place where its AI isn’t sure the Holocaust actually happened.
