“I think you have to press this button- oh no I closed the window. Can someone help?”

BRISBANE  – At the monthly Town Hall all seemed fine: the apathetic staff filed into the open space, taking seats at the very back first with phones in hand.

The host for this meeting was Great Metro Region Sales Manager Jennifer Powles. As she got in late due to a client meeting she didn’t have a great deal of time to prepare. While taking to the podium and attaching the cable to her laptop nothing appeared on the big screen, much to the eye rolls of everyone watching.

A few moments later Pat from Procurement who was seated in the front row got up to help, only to seemingly close the presentation window. After that a third member joined the painstakingly difficult task to get the laptop to connect to no avail. With audible groans from the crowd Mrs. Powles said they’re having technical difficulties. It was at this stage that Johnno from IT came over in a light jog.

After an excruciating three minutes of standing around awkwardly and being of no help whatsoever Mrs. Powles announced she will get her laptop looked at and placed her error on IT.
