PERTH – Just like every Tuesday at 9:45am local Sales Coordinator Steve Bosworth prepares for the Weekly Sales Meeting.
As Mr. Bosworth settles in from home with his cup of coffee on his desk and Reddit on his mobile he nods in approval as the Sales team runs through the weekly numbers.
Sales Manager Karen ‘Kaz’ Humphries gives an update on last weeks’ numbers as well as projected forecast before they do an ‘around the grounds’.
The usual 90-minute call breezes along as everyone is satisfied and there’s no further questions.
In a highly unusual turn of events all the agenda items are ticked off in a brisk 83 minutes with Kaz declaring they’ve covered it all, “And if there’s no more questions I’ll give you seven minutes back to your day”.
Mr. Bosworth could not believe this wonderful gift of time he and the team received and celebrated by staring into his phone until the next meeting started.
