DEATH VALLEY – Tucked away in a small corner office of a nondescript building is the Mansion & Associates Firm. Helming the Reception area and General Office Manager is Leslie Van Houten who ensures operations and day-to-day-business run smoothly.
At the back of the open plan office is where you’ll find Chief Financial Officer Linda Kasabian, who keeps a close eye on budgets and expenditures.
The main office belongs to the CEO, who has a friendly, laid-back demeanour and asks us to call him Charlie. “It’s more personal that way. I like to connect with my team”, he says.
Charlie and his team have been busy lately as business is booming with soft malleable minds ready to be shaped. “Don’t just be their boss, but be their friend and family member too. I see myself as the father figure” he says while Ms. Van Houten and Kasabian nod in agreement.
When we asked the new starters if they like their new working environment they stated they do, but the 11pm offsite tasks were hard as no overtime is offered and they were sick of hearing The White Album.
