WAGGA WAGGA – Procurement Advisor Johnno Haynes has had the best Friday ever. After the mandatory three days in the office he made the decision on a gruelling Thursday to duck outside for a mid-morning coffee on Friday to keep his spirits high and indulging in a little treat.
Much to his dismay the urgent meeting requests started rolling in on Thursday afternoon. Three one-hour meetings scheduled for Friday regarding the new client arrived in his inbox, where he had to present his findings to the wider team. He signed internally and agreed to all of them; one at 9:30am, the next and 11:30am and the final at 3:30pm, because what else is he going to do?
As Mr. Haynes logged into his Lenovo Thinkpad on Friday morning he saw the best news ever: all three meetings were cancelled with a caveat saying it may be rescheduled in future. Suddenly all the tension he carried in his shoulders was instantly relieved.
He celebrated by going to his favourite McCafe for a McCappucino and browsed Reddit for six hours straight.
