SYDNEY – Colin Dryford has a long tenured history with PingusCorp, starting as a young Accounting Admin in the 80s, through to Accounting Manager in the 90s and 2000s and finally as Accounting Exec, the role he landed in 2016 and still proudly serves as.
In his decades working in Accounts he’s seen it all, from manual bookkeeping to the rise in flimsy online tools such as Xero. He considers himself a workaholic and has never had time to watch tv. “I’ve never really cared for such nonsense. The only time I watch tv is when footy is on or Sky News is speaking the truth”. Suffice to say when the eponymous show made a splash in Australia’s screens and hearts Mr. Dryford was nonplussed.

“Suddenly everyone smiled at me and they said I was Colin from Accounts. Of course I am, I’ve been bloody doing it for forty years”, he said. When asked if he’s seen the show he said he saw the trailer and it looked stupid, and he recalls the only good TV show was Mother & Son.
